My return to the DevOps/Cloud space

My return to the DevOps/Cloud space

After taking a break from content creation in the DevOps/Cloud space since May, I'm excited to announce that I'm back and ready to share my learning journey with you. Recently, I enrolled in a DevOps Bootcamp to deepen my understanding of the field and to stay up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques. Over the next few months, I'll be documenting my progress and sharing my insights and experiences with you in a series of blog posts. I hope that by sharing my journey, I can help others who are interested in learning about DevOps/Cloud, and perhaps even inspire some of you to embark on your own learning journeys.

DevOps Bootcamp

In addition to my DevOps Bootcamp, I'm still enrolled at Western Governors University (WGU) where I'm continuing my education in Cloud Computing. I didn’t have time to complete the previously mentioned certification classes, so my most recent classes at WGU have focused on leadership and cryptography, both of which are important skills in the field of Cloud Computing. As I continue my studies at WGU, I'm looking forward to learning more about these topics and exploring how they can be applied in a real-world setting. I'm also excited to see how my studies at WGU will complement and enhance my learning in the DevOps Bootcamp, and to see how I can bring all of these new skills and knowledge together in my future career.

A change in how I market myself

Although my previous blog posts have had some success, I'm always striving to improve and reach a wider and more engaged audience. While there may have been challenges along the way, I've learned the importance of perseverance and of not giving up on my goals. Moving forward, I will be more proactive in marketing myself and my content using LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram to connect with other professionals and share my blog posts with a wider audience. By building a stronger online presence and engaging with my audience on these platforms, I hope to increase the visibility of my content and reach a larger and more engaged audience. I'm excited to continue creating new content and to see where my journey in the DevOps/Cloud space will take me in the future.

What I'm interested in learning

On to the cool stuff! One of the current trends in DevOps that I find particularly interesting is the adoption of GitOps practices. GitOps is a way of implementing continuous delivery that uses Git as a single source of truth for infrastructure and application code. By automating the deployment of code changes through Git, organizations can improve the speed and reliability of their software delivery process. As I continue my learning journey in DevOps, I plan to explore GitOps in more depth and see how I can incorporate these practices into my workflow. By staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the field, I hope to continuously elevate my learning and stay ahead of the curve in this rapidly evolving field.

In conclusion

I'm excited to be back in the DevOps/Cloud space and to share my learning journey with you. One of my greatest goals is to reach people both in my generation and the next and inspire them, and show them it's never too late to enter the cyber world. If you have any feedback or suggestions for my blog posts, I'm always open to hearing from you and learning from your experiences. Thank you for following along on my journey, and I look forward to connecting with you and sharing more in the future!
